JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking professional, energetic, and service-oriented Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to support a large-scale conference event. Multiple roles are available, including Supervisors, Registration Assistants, PowerHall/PowerSuite Assistants, and Announcers. All positions are fast-paced, highly interactive, and require individuals who are dependable, attentive, and comfortable being on their feet for the majority of the shift.

General Expectations (All Roles)

All CSR team members are expected to:

  • Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and strong situational awareness
  • Remain alert, mobile, and proactive throughout the shift
  • Assist exhibitors, attendees, and event staff as needed
  • Represent the event with a positive, service-focused attitude

AVAILABLE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES

Supervisor

  • Serve as liaison between event staff and CSR team
  • Ensure all staff arrive on time each day
  • Manage timekeeping according to company standards
  • Be trained in all positions to assist as needed and cover breaks
  • Distribute lunch vouchers
  • Communicate staffing updates with event staff via cell phone

Registration Assistant

  • Greet and register attendees and exhibitors
  • Distribute pre-filled folders and name badges
  • Assist attendees with session and event locations
  • Open and close general session doors to maintain timing and minimize disruptions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by event staff

PowerHall / PowerSuite Assistant

  • Work within designated exhibit hall zones
  • Assist exhibitors with missing packages and shipping inquiries
  • Communicate updates promptly to event leads
  • Support exhibitor set-up and tear-down
  • Help manage scheduled meetings by monitoring timing and ushering attendees
  • Track and report missed or extended meetings
  • Act as a runner or facilitator and deliver materials as needed
  • Maintain high physical stamina and readiness due to constant movement

Announcer

  • Maintain meeting flow by making scheduled announcements
  • Speak clearly and confidently using a microphone
  • Follow provided scripts precisely and stay on schedule
  • Maintain energy and professionalism throughout sessions

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment
  • Comfortable interacting with large groups of attendees and exhibitors
  • Prior event, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus (not required)
