Quality Control Technician | 2nd shift - from 3:30pm to 12:00am. Overtime as needed.

Location: St. Augustine, Florida 32086. Temp-to -hire.

· Candidates will be required to pass background check before they can be hired*

$18-$19 an hour.

The role will work under the direction of the Senior Manager of Quality Assurance and/or Department Lead to develop, implement, manage, all quality related product testing and applicable programs related to daily manufacturing.

Responsibilities

· Performing Quality Checks:

Monitoring day-to-day processing and packaging operations, performing in-process and finished product checks, ensuring food safety and quality parameters are met, checking weight, size, volume of products and components, visually inspecting printing, wrapping, packaging, and labeling, ensuring products meet specified properties and consistencies.

· Maintaining Documentation: Keeping accurate records of quality checks, maintaining storage records.

· Ensuring Product Quality:

· Performs routine tests to ensure resulting mixture meets specified properties and consistencies, performs periodic sampling of products to ensure continuous meetings of standards.

· Ensuring product quality, fill levels, labeling, freshness dating, and container integrity.

Other Potential Duties:

· May involve general housekeeping and sanitation tasks, may be involved in distributing product and assisting with inventory, may be required to work occasional overtime.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment or with quality control procedures is preferred,
• Knowledge of quality assurance standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is required.

Working Conditions:

• The work environment can be physically demanding, involving standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Quality technicians may work in various areas, including processing and packaging lines, labs, and warehouses.
• Environment can be hot, humid, and may have exposure to cornstarch and other processing components.
