Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operator to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various machinery and tools. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of production equipment and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for logging into Fuuz software to record production.
- Lifting/sliding boards from pallet on lift table to a fix table where uses chopsaw to cut defects from boards. Then the boards are feed on a conveyor belt to the end profiling machine for T&G.
- Perform setup and adjustments on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to execute production tasks accurately.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient workflow and materials handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in fabrication processes using hand tools as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating manufacturing machines.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing facilities.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
- Experience with quality control processes to ensure product integrity.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 3:30PM - 12:00AM (Overtime as needed)
Pay Rate: $18 an hour
