We are hiring a Manufacturing Production Lead in Jacksonville, FL! Please see below for all essential details and requirements in order to be considered for this position:

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the safety and productivity of all production employees within your designated work center. Accountable to the Assistant/Production Managers for the timely completion and quality control of HVAC manufactured products. Must have the ability to establish production procedures to ensure you meet or exceed company goals.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Ensure the proper equipment training and training documentation of all personnel within your designated work center.
• Ensure the proper safety training of all personnel within your designated work center.
• Hold employees accountable for meeting established production goals.
• Maintain excellent quality control of all items produced within your work center.
• Encourage effective communications between all production personnel and management.
• Report and investigate all injuries/near-misses.
• Coordinate with the HR/Safety Manager all items pertaining to safety, employee performance and employment related issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant/Production Managers.

EXPECTATIONS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• 2 + years leadership/management experience.
• Lean Manufacturing training - a plus
• Experience with 5S a plus
• A Plus working knowledge of HVAC production equipment, to include Sheet Metal Roll Forming Machine, Punch Presses, Rivet Machines, and more.
• Excellent math skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills
• Must be goal oriented.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must lift and carry up to 40 lbs weight short distances, at frequent intervals.
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to drive a forklift safely.

Job Type: Full-time

Payrate: $18.00 per hour
