Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join to dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling of incoming shipments, ensuring that all products are accurately received, processed, and stored according to company standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive warehouse environment.

Location: St. Augustine, Florida 32092.

Work schedule: M-T/ From 3:30PM to 12:00AM - Overtime

$18 an hour.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for quality issues prior to packing
• Assist with packing materials securely for safe and accurate shipment
• Count, verify, and wrap materials according to order requirements
• Use tape measures, power tools, and nail guns as part of daily tasks
• Ensure packaging meets company standards for quality and safety
• Accurately stock received items in designated areas within the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and address any discrepancies.

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous construction experience in a warehouse or receiving role is required.
• Working experience in a shop environment.
• Experience with measuring, tools, nail guns, etc.
• Proficient in math skills for inventory management tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Conditions:

• The work environment can be physically demanding, involving standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Environment can be hot, humid, and may have exposure to processing components.
