JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Stacker in a Reman (sawmill) operation. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided. In this role, you will support production by stacking, sorting, and organizing lumber as it comes off the line. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced indoor/outdoor warehouse environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• Stack and organize lumber according to size, grade, and production requirements
• Assist in maintaining a steady flow of materials throughout the production line
• Visually inspect wood for defects and ensure quality standards are met
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Support machine operators and team members as needed to meet production goals
• Follow all safety procedures when working around machinery and moving materials
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate effectively with team members
• Perform general labor tasks as assigned

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Team-oriented mindset with a dependable work ethic
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Preferred (but not required):
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, sawmill, or labor-intensive role
  • Familiarity with lumber handling or production environments
