Outside Sales Representative | Cabinetry Multi-family Builder Accounts

We are seeking a results-driven National Sales Representative to lead and expand the cabinetry sales business across the multifamily housing market. This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing national and regional accounts, and building strong relationships with developers, general contractors, property managers, and procurement teams. Experience selling cabinetry or building materials within the multifamily residential construction sectors is required.

Candidates must reside in GA, NC, SC or Jacksonville.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy targeting multifamily developers, REITs, and general contractors.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation, bid proposal, and contract negotiation to post-sale coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the multifamily construction and renovation industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, logistics, and production) to deliver timely and accurate project solutions.
  • Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to promote the brand and generate leads.
  • Track pipeline activities and maintain CRM records for forecasting and reporting.
  • Provide market feedback to help shape pricing strategy, product development, and competitive positioning.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly to maintain long-term client relationships.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience in cabinetry, building materials, or related construction sectors.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals, preferably in the multifamily housing market.
  • Strong understanding of construction project timelines, procurement processes, and value engineering.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally (up to 40%).
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Excel.

COMPENSATION

Base Salary $35k plus attractive commission structure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $150,000.00 per month
