Full-Time | Temp-To-Hire | Jacksonville, FL | $20 - $22/hr. | Mon - Fri

We are looking for an experienced Shipping Clerk/Delivery Driver to work in the shipping department at our family owned manufacturing facility. Please see below for the qualifications and requirements for this position:

Requirements for Shipping Assistant:

• Forklift experience a must
• Able to read a tape measure, use of power hand tools for building skids, pallet’s and crates
• Ability to lift 50 pounds multiple times daily, and up to 75 pounds when required
• Computer experience

Requirements for Pick Up’s and Deliveries:

• Required to pick up and deliver products in a timely, professional manner to and from customer locations.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be able to pull a trailer.
• Early mornings and late nights on occasion.

Additional Requirements:

• Hours M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm schedule a must, sometimes after to help when trucks come in.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Sense of urgency due to fast paced department during peak shipping periods.
• Time Management: Ability to set and maintain workday schedule based on daily workload. Forecasting orders and setting plan to complete all orders as required based upon pick up schedules by LTL carrier’s and parcel carriers. Completing duties with limited supervision in a timely fashion.
• Communication: Communicating daily with other departments/production
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must have 1 year of forklift experience
