Job description:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Staffing Support Specialist to join our growing team. This role is essential to supporting our recruiting and staffing operations by helping attract, engage, and onboard top talent while ensuring an exceptional candidate and client experience.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. They will provide administrative and recruiting support throughout the hiring process, maintain accurate candidate records, assist with onboarding, and help execute recruiting strategies that contribute to the continued growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and identify qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
- Support the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting positions, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and maintaining communication with candidates.
- Manage applicant tracking systems by ensuring candidate records are accurate, organized, and up to date.
- Assist with pre-employment processes, onboarding activities, new hire paperwork, and orientation coordination.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates, employees, hiring managers, and clients throughout the hiring process.
- Ensure recruiting and hiring practices remain compliant with employment laws, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Assist with recruiting initiatives, hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach efforts.
- Conduct proactive outreach and follow-up with prospective candidates to build talent pipelines.
- Partner with recruiting and sales teams to support workforce planning and business growth initiatives.
- Perform additional administrative and staffing support duties as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field preferred.
- Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of candidate sourcing techniques and recruiting best practices.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems
- Understanding of employment laws and HR compliance related to recruiting and hiring.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with candidates, clients, and internal team members.
- Experience coordinating onboarding, new hire documentation, or employee orientation is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other recruiting technologies.
